About the Property: Arno’s Court Villa

Welcome to our charming Victorian 5-bedroom townhouse in Brislington, Arno’s Court Villa, just 1.8 miles from Bristol city centre and perfectly located on a major bus route for easy access to the Harbourside, Temple Meads Station and Bath.

Ideal for families, work trips, or groups of up to 10, the house offers generous living space, a fully equipped kitchen with electric hob, oven, fridge, freezer and microwave, and a separate utility room with washer and dryer.

The house has five bedrooms: three of which have double beds (two superking, one standard double) and two rooms with two singles each, making seven beds in total. There’s one modern family bathroom upstairs and a convenient downstairs WC. High-speed broadband, Wi-Fi and Netflix are included for work or entertainment.

Off-street parking is available for two small cars or a large van via a private rear access lane. The rear garden adds a touch of outdoor space for relaxing or letting children play.

This lovely old house has a lot of history and character. Like many Victorian homes, she isn’t perfect — during the pandemic she fell into disrepair, and we are gradually and lovingly restoring her to her former glory. You may notice signs of ongoing renovation here and there, but she remains comfortable, spacious, and full of warmth.

The house overlooks Arno’s Court Park across the road. With parks, local shops and Arno’s Vale Cemetery nearby, and buses to the city running every few minutes, this home is a comfortable and convenient base for your stay in Bristol.

Location & Surroundings<br>

Just across the road lies Arno’s Court Park, a place with stories almost as old as Bristol itself. Flint tools from Stone Age settlers, Bronze and Iron Age traces, the site of a Roman villa, and Saxon farmland — all have shaped the land beneath your feet. In the 18th century, the park formed part of a grand landscaped estate, later transformed into a convent and a reformatory school. Bomb damage during the Second World War reshaped the area again, eventually opening the grounds to the public.
