Exploring Brislington: A Blend of Past and present

Brislington is a vibrant and historic district located in the southeastern suburbs of Bristol, England. The area is known for its unique blend of modern amenities and historical charm, and there are plenty of interesting things to discover and explore.
One of the most iconic landmarks in Brislington is the Arnos Vale Cemetery, a sprawling Victorian-era cemetery that is home to many notable figures from Bristol’s history. The cemetery is a popular destination for walkers and nature lovers, and it is also a hub for cultural events and community activities.
For those interested in history, the Brislington Conservation Area is home to a wealth of architectural treasures, including the Grade II-listed St. Luke’s Church.
The area is also home to several other historic buildings, including the purportedly haunted Arnos Manor Hotel. Brislington is also home to The Paintworks, a former industrial site that has been transformed into a creative hub, is particularly noteworthy, with its colourful street art, studios, galleries, and creative spaces.
Finally, nature lovers will appreciate the abundance of green spaces and parks in the area, including the beautiful St. Anne’s Woods, the vast and picturesque Eastwood Farm Nature Reserve, and the scenic Brislington Brook, a charming stream that winds its way through Nightingale Valley.
Overall, Brislington is a lovely district close to Temple Meads Station and Bristol city centre, connected by good public transport links.
Parking in Brislington
Our townhouse comes with 2 parking spaces but if you need alternative spaces there are options
Our Brislington Townhouse comes with two parking spaces for small to medium sized cars or one van. However the parking access lane is narrow (pull in your wing mirrors!) and you may prefer to find nearby on-street parking.
In case you need more parking space here is a map marking where on-street parking can be found near by.

Public Transport from Brislington

Being situated on the A4, there are frequent buses between the house and Bristol city centre and Bath, accessed from the bus stop across the road or around the corner on Sandy Park Road. Most of what you need will be within walking distance, including Sainsbury’s supermarket. Not surprisingly, our townhouse scores 82 on the walkscore scale.
